The River Wall climb in Clear Creek canyon, just minutes away from Black Hawk, is one of the most beautiful and unique areas for climbing. The lower part of the wall features tricky slab routes, while the upper half has more varied climbs.

Many unique trails in and around Black Hawk, including the Mountain Lion Trail. The loop is a seven mile steep trail with a great technical descent. It is known to be challenging, but well worth it.
