What information do I need to sign up?
You will need your personal information (Name, Address), and your Social Security Number.

What are the betting limits?
Betting limits vary based on type of sport and event. You may request any amount to wager and the BetMonarch app will inform you if you've requested an amount over the limit. Limits are also adjusted based on the time of day the wager is placed. Limits are higher during sportsbook hours of operation. The BetMonarch app is available 24/7, outside of normal sportsbook hours of operation the wagering limits are lower and some events may be closed.
Where can I sign up?
You can sign up for an account from within the app. Just provide the required personal information.
How do I deposit funds in my account?
By linking your bank account or Credit Card through our secure service.
How much money do I need to deposit in order to start wagering?
Only $40 is required to start wagering.
Where can I make deposits and withdrawals?

Do I need a certain carrier?
No, but internet access is required.

Can I bet anywhere?
You have to be in the State of Colorado to place a bet. If you try to place a bet outside the state of Colorado the application will inform you that you are outside the state of Colorado, and therefore you cannot place the bet.
What is the minimum bet?
- $1 on the BetMonarch app
- $5 inside the casino
If I make a mistake, can you void my ticket?
Once a bet has been placed, you cannot void your ticket.
Is WiFi required to use the BetMonarch app?
WiFi does NOT need to be disabled for the app to be located but in the event a player is having difficulty getting located, mostly due to poor gps tracking , turning off the WiFi radio will allow the location to be easily tracked.
Unable to verify your location in Colorado
If you receive this error, the location information that is being sent by your mobile phone indicates that you may be located in Colorado, however the accuracy of the data is strong enough to ensure you are not over the border.
Please try the following to resolve this error:
- If you are near the state border, please try moving closer into Colorado
- Try turning off your phone and back on to force your phone to connect to new cell towers.

What are the sportsbook hours of operation?
Current hours of operation are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm MT. The BetMonarch app is available 24/7, outside of normal sportsbook hours of operation the wagering limits are lower and some events may be closed. Sportsbook hours may be extended for certain live events that take place outside of current hours of operation.

How do I enroll for Monarch Rewards?
Please visit the Monarch Rewards desk to enroll. Rewards desk is located on the casino floor. You must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid federal-issued identification to enroll.
Can I book a Monarch Rewards' rate online?
Yes, go to www.MonarchRewards.com. You must create a free online account and link it to your Monarch Rewards Club Card. Then you will be able to review your Monarch Rewards rates and book them online.
Can I enroll online?
Online enrollment is not available at this time.
Will I receive a password or PIN?
At the time of enrollment you will be asked to provide a four-digit number to be set as your PIN. You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure; do not share it with anyone. If you created your account online, you will provide a four-digit number upon arrival to the Monarch Rewards desk.
How do I reset my PIN?
To change your PIN in Nevada, call the Monarch Rewards desk at 800.723.6500, email the Contact Us Page or visit the Monarch Rewards desk during business hours. The Monarch Rewards desk is located on the casino floor.

When will I receive my card?
At the time of enrollment, once complete, a Monarch Rewards card will be handed to you.

How do l earn Comp Dollars?
You can earn Comp Dollars playing slots, video poker and table games. Comp Dollars start being earned at the Monarch level and increase based on Tier Level.

What is Tier Status?
Tier Status is a card level within Monarch Rewards. It determines which benefits you are eligible for.
Each tier has a name: Monarch, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Royal Diamond and Black Diamond.
Does Tier Status expire?
Tier Points are accumulated throughout the yearly tier season. Tier Points are reset to 0 at the end of each season. To maintain your tier status, earn the same or a greater number of tier points in the current season as you did in the previous season. Each season the goal is to maintain or exceed the prior season’s tier.

What is a Tier Point?
Tier Points are used to determine Tier Status. They accumulate during game play based on certain parameters of play, on slots and table games. Visit our Tier Benefits page to learn more.
How do I earn Tier Points?
Tier Points are earned by using your Monarch Rewards card at the games you like to play. For table games please hand your card to the dealer or pit supervisor when you sit down to play at every table. Live poker and Keno please hand your card to the representative.
Will I earn Tier Points when I use my Monarch Rewards card with cash and credit spending at non-gaming outlets?
Yes, you will earn Tier Points when you present your Monarch Rewards card at all non-gaming outlets and use cash or a credit card for purchases.
When do my Tier Points post to my account?
Tier Points for table games are posted as soon as the table rating session is closed and entered into the system. Tier Points for slots and video poker are posted after the session closes when you remove your card from the machine.
I'm trying to sign up but it keeps saying "An account already exists with this email address." What's going on?
Only one account may be linked to an email address, and there is already an account in our system using that address. Please try signing in with your email address. If you continue to have issues, contact us.
Online Account
I forgot my online account password, what should I do?
Visit the Forgot Password page to reset your password.
I don't see my tier points or comp points, is my account working?
You need to link your Monarch Rewards membership card to your online account. Click on "Link Accounts" when you are signed in and provide a valid player ID number. Player IDs are found on the front of your Monarch Rewards card above your name.
I created an account but I cannot sign in, what should I do?
You must activate your account first. Please check your inbox for an activation e-mail from Monarch Rewards. You may also need to check your spam or junk mail folder, and add monarchrewards.com to your e-mail whitelist.
I have created an online account and linked my Monarch Rewards card. How can I link my spouse's card with mine online? We use the same email address.
Online Accounts require a unique email address for each Monarch Rewards card holder. In order to view account details like comp dollars, tier level, and offers, the accounts must have a different email addresses.
Online Games
How can I participate in a contest?
You can play online at monarchrewards.com. Go to Play > Free Contest. You will need to sign in and add a screenname to your online account prior to participating. Online Contests are generally held each month, from the 1st to the 10th.
It's my first time playing, how do I sign up?
You may create an online account at monarchrewards.com. When creating an online account from our website or app, you will receive an activation email to activate your account so you can begin playing. If the activation email doesn't arrive in your inbox within 10 minutes, please check your spam folder. If you did not see the activation email in your spam folder or your inbox, please contact us via email at emarketing@atlantiscasino.com and include the email address you registered with so our team can activate it manually.
Can I use the same login for Monarch Rewards games on the website and app?
Yes, your web login will work with the app, and vice versa. You can continue to use the same login for future contests, as well as our ongoing "play for fun" slot games.
Is there a cost to participate?
No, there is no cost to play. You just need to create an online account and play to win great prizes during the contest promotional period.
Is there a minimum age to play?
You must be 21 to win and redeem prizes and must provide a valid email address.
Can I play more than once each day?
Yes, you can play as often as you like. Only a completed game will count towards the result.
Can I check my overall score/rank during the contest?
Yes! For Online Video Poker Contests, the top 10 scores from all players are displayed on a leaderboard.
I see that the contest ends at midnight, how does this affect any games played near the end of the contest?
Scores for games are logged upon completion. Therefore, if your game begins before midnight on the last day, but ends after midnight, your score will not count toward the current contest. Please be sure your game is completed before the contest ends.
When will I find out if I won?
Upon completion of the contest, winners will be notified via email. At the completion of each contest, the ranked (top 10) and daily random winner player names will be posted on the Contest page.
In which time zone are the contest start and stop times?
The contest operates in the Pacific Time Zone (UTC -8).
What devices or browsers are supported?
We recommend using only Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to play at this time. The contest is also available on your mobile device and on our Monarch Rewards app. Unfortunately, older versions of Internet Explorer and Safari are not compatible at this time. You may download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for free to participate.
Why is my contest score not saving?
You must complete each game for scores to save. Please make sure of the following:
- Your internet connection must remain active in order for your scores to be sent to our server.
- Cookies must be allowed within your Web browser for the contest to work properly. These settings vary for different Web browsers and security settings. Some anti-virus programs can also block the use of cookies as well if the security settings are high. Please be sure that cookies are allowed, or enable them for the videopoker.com domain.
- JavaScript must also be enabled within your Web browser.
Can I play on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can play on your mobile device with an HTML5 compatible browser or on our Monarch Rewards app. For best experience, you can play on your PC with the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
In Online Video Poker games, how can I view the best hands for a contest session?
During the contest, all players can click on their own best scores on the leaderboard display to see their best hands from any session. You can also click on other players' scores in the leader board at any time to view the winning hands from the current Top Scores.
In Online Video Poker, why are the top scores so high? I can't get anywhere close!
These contests end up with very impressive scores at the top of the list. Keep in mind that in an entire contest, millions of hands can be played. With thousands of players competing, it takes great luck to appear even in the top 100 scores.
Some have wondered how a player can average hundreds of points per hand. In this case, this is not an accurate way to look at a contest session. Nobody plays 100 hands and wins them all. The top scores almost always contain a very lucky winning deal worth thousands of points on its own, which is just the nature of the game. A dealt royal flush (there are always several of these in each contest) in triple play is worth 12,000 points in itself.
If you evaluate the best possible winning deal for a game, you can be pretty sure somewhere in the millions of hands played, someone is going to achieve that, or close to it. If you are curious about how the winners achieved such high scores, click on their scores in the leader board to see the exact cards from their winning hands.
Of course, the more deals you play, the more chances you have at hitting those lucky hands. Someone is going to come out on top, and it could just as easily be your next session.
Should I change my strategy when playing the contest?
Strategy decisions are entirely up to you as a player.
In a contest, the "right" strategy may sometimes vary from optimal strategy, given you are trying to overcome great scores and are not putting any money at risk. Since there are only prizes for the very best scores, some players may choose to make holds that give them the best opportunity at a big winner. Also keep in mind that in the event that two or more players have the same "best" hand in a session, the winner will be determined by all the other hands in that session. To determine the most appropriate strategy, a player should consider the available pay tables, features of the game, and the likelihood of converting on each opportunity.
Monarch Black Hawk
What is the proximity of surrounding cities to Black Hawk?
Central City is one mile west, Idaho Springs is 20 minutes west, and south Golden and Evergreen are 40 minutes from Black Hawk. Boulder and Denver are one hour away from Black Hawk.
What stores/malls are close to the area?
Colorado Mills is the nearest mall. It is located in Golden approximately 40 minutes away from Black Hawk.
How far is the airport?
The Denver International Airport is approximately one hour and 10 minutes away from Black Hawk.
Does the casino hold slot tournaments?
Black Hawk does not offer daily or weekly tournaments. Any special tournament will be in the monthly promotions mailer.
Is there an area where guests can watch games and/or fights?
There are televisions throughout the casino that broadcast games from standard channels and cable, including our all-new Sportsbook Bar and Lounge, as well as our video wall at the Stage Bar. There is not a place to view pay-per view fights or fights on premium cable channels.
Does Colorado have a betting limit?
No, Colorado does not have a betting limit.
May I drink in Colorado casinos?
Yes, cocktail waitresses can serve alcoholic beverages in our casino 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to guests 21 years of age and older.
Is there an area where underage children can be?
Yes, underage guests are welcome accompanied by a guest 21 years old or older from 7am - 9pm in restaurants and hotel areas of the resort. Gambling areas are non-accessible for guests under the age of 21.
Can my underage children eat in The Buffet?
Yes, Guests under the age of 21 years old are welcome with a guest over 21.
Does Monarch Casino have a bus program?
Yes, Monarch Casino will refund bus tickets with points earned in the same day. Currently, Monarch Casino does not have a shuttle program.
Does Monarch Casino make charitable donations?
Yes, donation requests can be sent to The Donation Committee, P.O. Box 9, Black Hawk, CO 80422. Please send a letter with the details of your organization, what event you are requesting a donation for, and what specifically you are requesting.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions
Gift cards may be purchased in person at the mPulse retail store on level 3 of the property or online. Gift cards purchased online Friday after 3 pm, Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next business day. Monarch gift cards do not expire. Gift Cards purchased online with "Free pick up" may be picked up at mPulse during regular business hours (Holiday hours may vary).
Gift cards are valid at Monarch Casino Resort Spa for luxury hotel accommodations, spa, restaurants and gift shop. Cards must be presented at time of purchase. Not redeemable for cash or gaming chips.
This is not a debit or credit card and has no implied warranties. Card cannot be used for deposit, advance purchase or to secure or confirm a reservation. Monarch is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use.
The following Monarch Casino Resort Spa Gift Card (“Gift Card”) Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”), are subject to Monarch Casino Resort Spa’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and describe the supplemental terms and conditions that apply to use of Gift cards (including gift certificates). This Agreement is between you (the “Cardholder”) and Monarch Casino Resort Spa (“Issuer”). By purchasing, accepting or using your Card, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. About Your Card
Gift Cards can be purchased at Monarch mPulse Gift Shop as available. Promotion Cards may be provided to you as part of a promotion. Gift Cards are only valid if purchased from a Monarch Casino Resort Spa participating outlet or received directly via an authorized Monarch promotion. Gift Cards are not valid if obtained from unauthorized sellers or resellers, including through Internet auction sites. Gift Cards are not debit or credit cards.
Balance Inquiry
For balance inquiry please visit monarchblackhawk.com/guest-services/gift-cards or call (800) 914-2436. The balance you receive when inquiring over the telephone or online is an estimate only. In most cases, the balance is adjusted within 24 hours after you make a purchase, but there may be occasions when the balance adjustment is delayed.
Expiration/Deactivation
Gift Cards do not expire. An inactivity fee of $5 will be issued after one year.
Redemption
Gift Cards are redeemable only for purchases at Monarch Hotel, Spa Monarch, Bistro Mariposa, Twenty-four/7, Monarch Chophouse, The Buffet, Java etc., mPulse Gift Shop and Chophouse Bar. Gift Cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash except as required by law. Gift Cards are not redeemable to purchase another Gift Card or towards previously purchased goods and services. Not valid for wedding and/or banquet purchases. Not valid for gaming play. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase comps.
Reloading
Gift Cards may be reloaded with value.
Refunds
Cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash unless required by Colorado law.
Lost, Damaged Or Stolen Card
The value of any lost, damaged or stolen Card, or any Card altered or used without authorization, will not be replaced or replenished, except in limited circumstances with proof of purchase.
Limitations
The maximum value that can be associated with any one Card is one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and total purchases of Cards for any one individual may not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) in one calendar day. Cards cannot be resold or transferred for value. Cards are void if resold or transferred for value.
Action Waiver, Punitive Damages Waiver
You and Issuer agree that any dispute, whether at law or equity, arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of the Card, regardless of the date of accrual of such dispute, shall be resolved in its entirety by individual (not class wide or collective)litigation in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Clear Creek County, Colorado, and Colorado law shall apply. You and Issuer agree to waive the right to trial by jury.
Limitation of Liability
ISSUER AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO CARDS INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT THAT A CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH CARD UPON PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OR CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Governing Law
The laws of Colorado, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, shall govern this Agreement and use of your Card.
Changes To Agreement
Issuer reserves the right to change this Agreement from time to time in its discretion, which changes we may provide to you by any reasonable means, including without limitation, by posting the revised version of this Agreement at https://monarchblackhawk.com/guest-services/gift-cards.
Fraud
Issuer reserves the right to refuse to honor a Card where Issuer reasonably suspects that the Card was obtained fraudulently
