During the COVID-19 crisis, Monarch Casino did not lay off any Team Members. Furloughed Team Members were able to keep all of their health insurance during a time where health care coverage was even more important than ever. In a continuing commitment to Team Member health and safety, all prospective Team Members will receive free COVID-19 tests and orientation before beginning work. 

In the month since Monarch Casino Resort Spa reopened after the closure brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, guest and Team Member health and safety has remained a top priority. Our high contact areas remain protected by MicroShield 360, an antimicrobial that prevents the growth of bacteria, viruses and mold. We will continue to require all Team Members and guests to wear masks. In addition, temperature checks and health and wellness questions will be required for everyone entering Monarch Casino Resort Spa.
