Guests donate nearly $13,000 to non-profits through Monarch Casino Resort Spa’s giving program in 2020

Feb 4, 2021

More than 100,000 Monarch Casino Resort Spa guests donated their spare change from slot machine winnings to charity over the course of 2020, totaling nearly $13,000!

After playing slot machines at Monarch Casino, you can cash out your proceeds at one of the Everi digital kiosks, round down your winnings to the nearest dollar and donate the difference (99 cents or less!) to one of four non-profit organizations.

Guests were able to choose between the Food Bank of the Rockies, the American Cancer Society of Colorado, National Western Stockshow, or the Navy SEAL Foundation. The average donation in 2020 was $0.13 but that added up quick!

“In a year that’s been so challenging for so many people, it’s wonderful to see our guests continue to step up and support their community by giving just a few cents here and there,” said Monarch Casino Resort Spa COO David Farahi.

Monarch Casino Resort Spa recently opened Phase I of its luxury resort expansion including an expanded gaming floor, three new restaurants including the Monarch Chophouse, and more than 300 mountain modern hotel rooms and suites for guests to stay and play.

Colorado’s premier gaming resort destination is just a short and easy 45-minute drive from Denver, featuring incredible views along the way. When guests arrive, they will enjoy VIP treatment from the moment they park in the state-of-the-art garage featuring Black Hawk’s shortest walk to the gaming floor!
